Focus in nature...

We are dedicated to promoting insect health and adopting eco-friendly practices in forest beekeeping. Our research focuses on Apis mellifera and the native black bee Apis Melifera Melifera, aiming to develop innovative techniques that enhance environmental sustainability, improve insect health, and advance beekeeping practices.

In pursuit of knowledge...

Nektar, honung och pollenanalys

By analyzing pollen and honey samples, we can monitor the nutritional sources bees access from spring to autumn and assess their capacity to build reserves. Well-managed forests have the potential to provide an ideal biome to support all forms of life. How do we achieve this balance?

Hive dynamics and bee health

Environmental analysis and honey purity...

We utilize GC/MS mass spectrometry to analyze materials produced by bees, detecting potential environmental contaminants. This ensures the health of the bees, their surroundings, and the safety of consumers.

Pollinator health as an environmental indicator...

Through collaboration between forest owners, researchers, and industry, we can foster a deeper understanding of sustainable and healthy forest environments. With pollinator health declining in many agricultural areas, we strongly oppose the use of contaminants that harm pollinators and view Swedish managed forests as a safe haven of the future.

As recent research has confirmed
, "environments and species composition are relatively stable, and with appropriate stewardship, the vast majority of species will be able to thrive in managed forests, which make up the majority of Sweden's forest land." (3)

Services

Our Services

We offer a range of services to corporate, institutional and private:

Queenbreeding

We are strong advocates for breeding stock with good temperament and genetic adaptation to the local environment. This includes breeding Carnica, Buckfast, and Apis mellifera mellifera, the endangered European black bee.. (2)

Labbanalys

Our sampling, preparation, and analysis of honey, pollen, wax, propolis, and bee biodata can be conducted both on-site and through European-accredited laboratories, ensuring compliance with environmental and food certification standards.

Research Project Support

Do you need the support of professional beekeepers or our laboratory services for your project? Feel free to contact us - we would be happy to discuss your ideas.
